CES Student Birthday expectations have been developed to better support the safety, health and wellness of our students. We will not be allowing food from outside of the school for Birthdays.

We will be partnering with the kitchen to offer options of a special treat for you to purchase for your child’s class that meets the USDA’s regulations for Smart Snacks in Schools. BELOW is the form you will need to fill out and send along with your payment a week prior to your child’s birthday.

If you send in food items with your child on their birthday (this includes goodie bags) we will not distribute them to other students, we will send them back home to you.

We encourage families to continue to come into the school on their child’s birthday to celebrate. Please contact your child’s teacher if you are interested in options other than purchasing from the cafeteria.

If you are unable to join the class or choose not to buy a treat from the cafeteria, please know that each teacher will make your child’s birthday special.
